There was a time when half of the earth was covered with forests. As humans built cities and cut trees from forests for other needs, the area of forests decreased. Currently, forests cover one-third of the earth’s surface and are found in every corner of the world. As soon as you step into a forest, your lungs are filled with fresh air.

Experts divide forests into three parts: the first part is the forest floor, the second part is the understory and the third part is the canopy.
The forest floor consists of soil, dead plants, animals, wildflowers, and grasses. The understory consists of small trees and shrubs. It is also called the bushy part. The part called the canopy consists of leaves and branches of trees. This is the dominant part of the forest. According to experts, there are four types of forests: tropical forests, temperate deciduous forests, temperate evergreen forests and arctic forests.
Tropical forests are found around the equator. These forests contain more species of trees than all other forests. The temperature of these forests ranges from 20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Winter does not come in these forests. These forests receive 254 cm of annual rainfall.
Trees found in tropical forests are 82 to 115 feet tall and broad-leaved. Different types of birds, bats, monkeys, snakes and other animals are found in these forests. Temperate deciduous forests are found in the United States, Canada, Western Europe, parts of Russia, China, and Japan. All four seasons come in these forests. It rains in summer, spring and autumn while it snows in winter. Rainfall in these forests ranges from 77 cm to 153 cm per year. Maple, chestnut and shetel trees are found in these forests.
Cypress and other evergreen trees are also found in these forests. Animals and birds found in these forests include red foxes, hawks and hawks. Temperate evergreen forests are found in coastal areas. The temperature of these forests is moderate. It rains all year round. Diyar, Shamshad, Cypress and Pine trees are found in these forests.
The terrestrial and terrestrial animals and birds found in these forests include deer, bears, owls, bears, squirrels, ducks and salmon. Arctic forests are found in the northernmost part of the planet. These forests are found in Canada, Northern Asia, Siberia and Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland). About two-thirds of such forests are found in Scandinavia.
In these forests, winter is very long and summer is very short. It snows a lot here. Annual rainfall ranges from 38 cm to 102 cm. Most of the trees found here are evergreen. They include trees such as Diar, Pine, Cypress etc. Animals and birds that survive the long winter include snow wolves, snow hares, snow bears and snow foxes.
