Maula Chattok, Khuzdar
Mula Chotok in Khuzdar is a masterpiece of natural beauty. It is one of the most beautiful natural tourist destinations not only in Balochistan but also in Pakistan. The clear water of small and big waterfalls falling into natural pools captivates the tourists. Located in Khuzdar district between Quetta and Karachi, one has to travel another 70 km from Khuzdar to reach this place. Despite the rocky paths and seasonal rivers, the place is becoming a hub for tourists from both Balochistan and Sindh, including Karachi. Saifullah, a tourist and travel blogger, says that the entire valley of Mola Chokok is a beautiful sight, and its beauty mesmerizes the visitors. It is no less than paradise for those who love tourism.
Zangi Nawar, Nushki
Zangi Nawar Lake is a beautiful natural recreational spot located at a distance of about 200 km from Quetta in the desert region of Nushki. Spread over an area of more than 1000 acres, this lake gets filled with water after rains, which adds to the natural beauty. It is a favorite place for migratory birds.
Shinghar, Sherani
Shirani district, bordering FATA and Afghanistan, about 400 km from Quetta, becomes a tourist attraction on the occasion of Eid. The region has the largest natural pine nut forest in the world. Additionally, it has natural olive groves. Shanghar is a pleasant and lush natural resort. Even in scorching summers, the weather remains pleasant on this 9000 feet high mountain. Saifullah explains that during the British period, the place served as a summer camp and they built a resort here, which has recently been renovated by the Balochistan government.
Silyaza, Zhob
Located at the foot of Mount Sulaiman in Zhob district of Balochistan, this recreational spot is on the banks of the Zhob river. Located near the highway connecting Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Quetta, thousands of tourists visit during Eid and festivals.
Harboi, Kalat
Located in the Kalat mountain range, Herboi is known for its forests of juniper trees. It is home to natural springs, wildlife and hundreds of species of herbs. Being a cold region, the weather is pleasant in summer, which makes Harbui a great place to visit during Eid.
Ziarat Valley
Wadi Ziarat is a beautiful tourist center at a distance of about 120 km from Quetta. It is home to the second largest and oldest juniper forest in the world. Natural waterfalls and lush orchards of apples, cherries, peaches and apricots add to its beauty. Apart from the Quaid-e-Azam Residency, associated with the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, other popular pilgrimage sites include Prospect Point, Baba Kharwari’s Shrine, Inferna Tangi and Chasma Tangi. The weather is pleasant even in summer.
